Perhaps I didn't word myself well.

Sure the Wii made history with motion gaming. And it does have quality software as usual for any Nintendo platform. I just don't think it truly deserves a #1 spot as Xbox 360 and PS3 did way too much more as far as pushing high quality hardcore gaming specially online. But anyway, it's just a personal opinion. Please don't take offense (my english doesn't help me express well either).

Captain Obvious!

Honestly, I don't even think that the Wii will outsell the PS2. My guess is that the PS3 will reach 80m sales lifetime which is not completely unlikely IMO.

Anyway, PS3 is my favourite console overall (not only this gen). Its' sales are not the most important thing

That being said the PS3 is doing amazingly well considering how strange this generation is (seriously, Wii in first place is a slap in the face of true gamers), how good the competitor is doing (X360) and how badly the PS3 started out the console race.

I think one company releasing a video game console for $600 and the other releasing one that breaks down 33% of the time is the true slap in the face of "true" gamers.

What in your mind is a hardcore gamer? Such a meaningless word

Why are they better quality? 

Sony and Micro are getting what they deserve according to the market
