Forums - Sony - Sony Admits It Made A Mistake With Move

Sony has admitted it made a mistake with its Move device, claiming it didn’t anticipate the strong demand that it is experiencing.

The firm’s senior vice president of marketing in the US said that stores are now running low on Move stock worldwide.

Peter Dille warned: “We have a catch-up problem in all three territories that will last until January or February.”

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

I was in the shop today and they always have lots of moves instock.

The shop has allocated even more space for the move stuff then when it first launched. So this must be a good sign. They have opened up a new isle of shelves for the move games and the is a isle just for the bundles. the back of the counter has lots of navigation and single move controllers.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Better than overanticipating and seeing them hit the bargain bin *cough medal of honour* (which I did purchase)

I'll be honest. A friend of mine who is EXTREMELY skeptical of everything and has a hard time finding enjoyment out of any game actually called me the other night about Move. He said he really liked it because it was so accurate. I might just have to pick one up myself.

That's both a good and bad quality of SONY... They don't expect big sellers for their games either. They expect multiple good sellers over time. They're often right but when something does take off well they're never prepared for demand...

It's sometimes a good idea to work with lower expectations but COME ON!!

The thread, I was misled...LOL

Of course they're going to say that. It's what basically every company has done, does, or will do at some point to spur sales.
