Does it work if you remove the battery and try to play it off simply your outlet with a charger?

I've had a cell phone that had a similar issue. It would charge, and hold a full charge.......but that full charge would only last about half as long as it used to. Eventually, it started lasting for shorter and shorter amounts of time, even though it had a full charge. In the end, a full charge would last just long wnough for me to get to the car. It had to be plugged in all of the time.

Solution: Buy a new battery. I'm sure your old battery is just nearing the end of its life.
