When you say Album of the Year, do you mean whether it will win the Grammy for Album of the Year of what? 'Cause if that's what you meant, then no, he won't win it. The Grammys (and the music industry in general) hate him for being such a douche who thinks he should win every award on the planet.

Rick Ross is average at best, he's good enough now for me not to want to turn his music off as soon as I hear it, though. I barely even listen to mainstream music anyway soo...lol? I'd also say KanYe West is above average, but definitely not a Top 20 rapper. But, what he lacks in lyrical ability, he makes up with creativity, innovation, production, etc. He has pretty good wordplay too and Double Entendres'.

And not liking his album because of too many "Instrumental moments" or w/e Is kind of funny to me. Some of the best album's ever made were just all instrumentals. But w/e bruh bruh.

Your view on Sampling is a subject that's been debated upon for years, so I won't really argue about that one too much. I won't get anywhere lol. I think he has a great ear for music though, tbh. When I hear a song he produced and then listen to the sample (I usually know the song he sampled anyway) I think how the hell did he just make Song B out of Song A?

I think he's very good at mixing very unorthodox songs together and making them work together seamlessly. But, seriously if you listen to Late Registration, I still haven't heard other rap albums as well orchestrated as that one. A good example off that would be the song "Gone" the last verse and how throughout the whole song the violins and w/e else changed throughout the whole song. That is creative In my opinion.

And yes, he does sample a lot, but MANY producers that are considered the greatest sample music like: Preemo, Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, Swizz Beats,  Kno (Underground, but definitely one of the best producers out there), 9th Wonder, etc. You could say "Oh, anybody could sample a song" But, can they do it as great as him and other great producers out there? I know I couldn't...that Chipmunk Soul stuff too...I'm not sure 100% but I think he was the one that idk about invented but at least made it extremely popular, it was his signature style at one point.

I honestly doubt that is going to matter considering the rave reviews this is getting. And how good the album in general is. I honestly have no doubt that it is going to win the Grammy for Album Of The Year.

i just plauyed through the whole album and the only good song is all of the lights, all others are mehh at best
