This was filmed last month, so Kinect wasn't released yet nor did they know about MS upping the expected sales to 5 million.  I find it surprising, though, how low their sales figures were compared to the reality of the 1st 10 days. 

Those guys know nothing. MS already said they have no plans to augment existing games with kinect controls. There are already more Kinect exclusive games announced than Move exclusive, with alot more coming according to developers. It already looks like Kinect is gonna reach that 5 million mark or atleast 4.5 not 3-3.5. When MS said bigger than Ipad they meant it would sell faster than the ipad, and it has. Playstation Move will not come close to Kinect sales this winter.

I think that while the slim was a contributing factor to increased sales, the update that allows you to use SD cards and **GB of data from any HDD made the Arcades value increase. Before then the only storage options were expensive proprietary hard drives or hacking eeproms etc.

Another thing is not everyone who rebought their 360 still has their original, when I traded mine my console was gone by the next day, I know because I went back because I wanted to switch the controller I gave them for a different one(I prefer wired for fighting games.)
