"More than 5.9 million multiplayer hours were logged playing Black Ops by end of launch day on November 9. Meanwhile, more than 2.6 million unique gamers played Call of Duty: Black Ops in the same time-frame."

The OLD record for Xbox Live was 2.2M at same time on the whole service back in December 2009.

Black Ops alone have put 2.6M so the Xbox Live numbers for that hours must be above 3M since at least 400K were playing Reach and Mw2.

The best online service ever made and its proving why !

Congrats to Activision and Treyarch this is the best Cod yet.

I disagree, it's just an very easy online-system. Staggering numbers though, I have to say I can't really get into COD:BO maybe in a few day/weeks I'll get addicted again.
