Hi, I'm Chris Hansen from Dateline NBS. Why don't you have a seat ...
I am the black sheep
"of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson
I knew about this for a while. Technically, if it depicts underage individuals in sexually explicit situations even if they are 100% fictitious, it's against the law to possess it in the USA
Sailor Moon hentai? illegal. Naruto hentai? illegal. One Piece hentai? illegal for Nami and Vivi, at least. Robin is legal, though ;)
That's why you have to be wary if you buy hentai in Japan and try to bring it back with you. Customs will check it and seize it from you
Though enforcement is thin on the ground, as i know quite a few websites that blatantly advertise lolicon, let alone the ones that portray adult-like minors (like Sailor Moon). It's like downloading songs illegally. A few unlucky shmucks will get nailed on it, but it's mostly irrelevant.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
That's pretty bad. I feel sorry for the guy, I think people with foot fetishes are creeps, but it doesn't mean that I think they should be banned from looking at feet. Australia's law system is horrible in general,it's outdated by 30 years and it doesn't look like it's going to be changed any time soon.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Unfortunately this was in the US.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Strange indeed, I really don't understand what law is broken here.
I mean If your character's narritive self declairs themselves older than 18 years of age (if that is what the case is even considering???) even when drawn with a body that looks younger, then the character is technically the age they declair themselves to be as that is the how the illustator created them. And an old wrinkly hag declairing themselves to be under the age of 18 it would be supposedly illegal.
So how do you measure age apperance? empirical average for an age group that is subjective? What about drawn hybrid specices are their ages considered in human years, dog years, fish years, alien years?
Simply put, the porn is weird, the courts...even weirder... I mean think about it, you could drawn on a blank sheet of paper with a pencil, and based on an authority figures' subjective opinion about what you drew, it could be considered an arrestable offense or not.

Stupid laws are stupid.
Its a bloody cartoon! Its not like a child was raped in the making of it, it was simply pen to paper and whilst its disturbing I certainly don't think it should be illegal.
yea the issue i have with it is that since they are fictional, and people of all ages come in all kinds of different sizes and looks. Some people have defects, and since they are fictional they could have fictional problems from a fictional world. They could say they are overage and look like a little kid, and even in the real world there are people over 18 that look very young and people that are very small or have small defects etc. To even begin to police something like that is insane. Real people is a totally different issue.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
Anyone who watches that shit is messed in the head and deserves jail time.
