So games come on a memorystick of mini sd card? cause a UMD wouldn't fit in that one...

Or *gasps*, download.

If it is a download based system, that means it could have a 3G component. 3G multiplayer gaming for PSN subscribers? Who knows?...

Kaz said there won't be another Download Only Handheld for the time being, which translates to there will be physical media invovled with the PSP2.

OP: Interesting. Glad to see Dual Analogue sticks and they look much more comfortable than the PSP's one but the Analogue Sticks are out of place. They should be where the Buttons are and the Buttons should be where the analogue sticks are.

not sure about the placement of the right analogue stick, but apart from that everything looks really good

I like the rear trackpad. I always felt there should be buttons on the bottom in PSP

That was my first thought. Overall it looks good, but if the analog sticks are placed like on the picture it will be uncomfortable IMO.

Exactly. I just imagined how it would feel to have the button layout like that and it feels annoying.

Plus I'm so used to the PS3 controller that if the PSP2 has a button layout like that, it'll be very awkward as well. How on earth did Sony even come up with such stupid idea in the first place?

I don't know, but I doubt that the button layout will look like that in the end. Sony should recognize that it looks and feels weird, so they'll probably change it anyway. I guess we'll find out soon, GDC is just a few months away and we might see the PSP2 there for the first time. Can't wait!

Me too!!!

If 3rd Party Devs show the same about of support as the 3DS but even more hardcore titles, I couldn't be happier. Let's hope it happens :D

Will next gen of portables be only for hardcores? Will casuals stick to current gen or smartphones?

the design doesnt look good in my opinion

It would probably make a lot of people happy if SCE simply designed the housing to accomodate a button/analog stick layout as close to the DS3 as possible.

But for console type games with a 3D camera, that second analog nub will make many games a whole lot more playable. I'm guessing the rear mounted track pad will be multi-touch capable allowing custom hotspot "buttons" to be mapped to a developer's liking as well.
