a.) Microsoft is stating number sold to people making vgchartz number very acurate
b.) Microsoft stating numbers shipped making vgchartz numbers way too high,
c.) Microsoft is stating these are numbers shipped in america only making vgchartz accurate
imo it's either b or c...

Since it isnt C, and its always shipped.. specially when its just been 10 days, the right answer is B.

Or simply MS does not have the hard data yet showing the actual number sold is in fact 1.3 million but enough to know they have sold over a million.

No matter how impressive Kinect is, i doubt it has a 100% sell-thru.

MS has a lot more money then ioi, i'm sure they have a pretty damn good idea of how much kinect sold so far. ...and if it wasn't close to 1.3M they would have said something like over 1.5M or over 2.0M since obviously they want to make kinect look as big as they can. i repeat....llllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmeee

Thing is. MS indicated that VGC numbers were off, and then released a statement claiming 1m shipped, while VGC has it hat 1.3m Sold. Which would require MS to ship atleast 1.5 - 2m. So they actually were right when they told people to not invest too much hope in VGCs numbers, the numbers are too high.
wow so all those guys complaining in the other thread about undertracking are completely and utterly wrong. We're overtracked!
