More like seven or eight great games. The only time quality is inconsistent is when dealing with the handheld games, and even most of them are still worth the money.
And Tales > Grandia, though Grandia is good too.

Grandia 2 was great, Grandia Extreme was okay, Grandia 3 stunk bad (battle system was great, most of the rest of the game was horrible).

You're talking out of your ass, Soriku. No way the Tale series is the second best franchise of all-time. I can name 20 different franchises better than this one.

I absolutely despise Tales of the Abyss, it's plot, and it's characters. If I reviewd it now it would be lucky to score a 7 from me. I would be more surprised if you played Symphonia.
