really the large HDD are only usefull when you have Play Tv since it consumes your HDD like an fat kid in an candy store 

True. I've got a 320GB and I still have ~170GB free. This is with probably 65 PSN games installed, game data from a ton of my disk based games installed, my entire Ipod's music collection on my HDD, 15 PS1 games, some TV episodes, a ton of custom themes, and more add-on content than I want to admit I've bought. 

I'll probably never fill the internal drive up with just games/addons/installs, but we'll see. I've got a 4TB external drive hooked up to it for all of my extras :).

Yea, I got mine as a 250 gb at gamestop cuz for the same price it came with infamous and littlebigplanet GOTY edition.  So basically I was paying the $50 for the games and not the extra space (would have been about same to buy 120 GB and games seperate on amazon, so I figured why not)

Cough up $380.00 and get a 320GB with PS Move included. Far better deal.

Yea, I know, I'm thinking that's why they have this is to get them out of stock.  The Move bundle is still kinda spendy I think...while I might get Move eventually, there just isn't the games for me to fork out $99.

and play it with alot of games you are already buying

Yeah when I got my PS3 during the summer, they sold the 250 GB SKU with Little Big Planet GOTY edition and Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction (I would have preferred InFamous to Ratchet & Clank but I didn't see a PS3 bundle at the time that included Infamous so). Those two games combined probably came out to around $50 so basically they gave you the extra 130 GB for free. So yeah, like you, I figured why not? I haven't checked how much of the hard drive I've used up thus far but I doubt I'll ever come close to filling it up.
