Well, for one, it's entirely dedicated, from the ground up, to 3D. Ps3 isn't.

That's the single most striking feature of the entire 3DS system. Each and every single game that will release for it will support 3D. On PS3, it's a tagged-on feature, and one that not a large percentage of games released for it will use. Just the mere fact that 3DS can output stereoscopic 3D without the need for glasses puts it above PS3's 3D abilities, imo. Note that I'm talking specifically about 3D abilities here, and not all all about graphics or power.

Yes, obviously PS3 will have better graphics. That's only to be expected of a home console many times its size and cost. 3DS won't have HD visuals. But does it honestly need them, on such a small screen? No.

well i get point of it being dedicate but that has to bring something special or different

and the PS3 can do everything

infact all consoles ever can do 3D just that their resolution and other framerate will get chopped of

and as PS3 still hasn't been fully used and has space for better resolution,it is very much dedicted if not from the start but in its abilities

but that is just a feature cause they brought 3D

you are confusing abilities with product marketability

here you are completely wrong

3DS's glassesles 3D abilities are totally depedning on the type of screen not the 3DS technical abilities

that is because glasses less 3D is not aplicle on bigger screen cause of the bad viewing angle

 

you can hook up PS3,360 and will get better graphics on 3DS screen

 

again you are confusing the ability of 3DS with the ability of the screen

even if you hook up 3DS to a TV screen you won't be able 3D without graphics

Oka that explains it. I was wondering why PS3 could be marketed as 3D while Cod, Crysis 2, and avatar were 3d on both. I geuss its not as good on 360.
