At the launch event for Call of Duty: Black Ops in Berlin had the opportunity to test the game in 3D.

There the game on a XBOX360 was shown in 3D, which we are not convinced so real. Although a certain sense of depth was evident, but this effect disappeared after a short, if we had gotten used to it. We've talked about this with Lead Animator Adam Rosas, said that one will have the best 3D experience in the game only on PS3.

The reason is quite simple. The PS3 is built for 3D gaming, while it is only an added feature in the Xbox 360. This was noticeable especially in fast movements. In this virtually nothing was visible in the picture, and certainly not in 3D.

So they didn't even play the game on PS3 to get a comparison.  Hmmm....

It doesn't say that.  Nor do they comment on their personal comparison between the 2 if they had.  They simply say the 360 version of 3D wasn't impressive and that some Animator said the PS3 version of 3D was superior.

Having tried 3D first hand on GT5 and Killzone 3, I was vastly underwhelmed and had feelings identical to what they were saying about the 360 version.  IMO, 3D should wait until the hardware can perform at full 1080p 3D without taking a graphical hit.  I will be playing Killzone 3 without 3D.

ummm... i think they did. Do he have to say it outright that he tested it on ps3 just for you to be satisfied? Some things are meant to be obvious...LOL

It's not true... Digital Foundry only said 360 has better resolution and framerate... not 3D experience.

How is it obvious?  If anything it seems obvious that he ONLY tried the 360 version since he had to get an opinion from someone else and didn't give his own personal impressions for the PS3 version.
