My addiction is too strong, if I must play it on PS3 than I will.

Hopefully it works, but it just wont turn on and I had seen the red ring of death at least 5 previous times yet it would always work after restarting it. Danm shame, nothing.

My original 40GB fatty still works, and my Slim is also running well.. No issues for me, but my original 360 works fine also. Hell, I still have my fat PS2 and PS1 that work perfectly. Though, I misplaced my PS1 somewhere. I've never been unlucky with my consoles, they just don't break. I own a bunch of stuff. I'd be able to use my SNES also if I didn't sell my last game (FF6)..

my ol' trusty 60G ps3 is still running fine, but I open it up and change the thermal paste and vacuum its inner once a year just to be safe.

My 40gb ps3 sounds like a hair dryer lately and it gets the over heating message within 10-20 minutes telling me to turn it off though it is really hot outside is this normal?

SONY replaces your console if you send it in. They then send an repaired one back
