No, I'm talking about the thing that inevitably makes all consoles worthless

VGChartz has always been 45% PS3 fans,  35% Wii 20% 360. This pattern is not even mirrored on many other gaming forums - VGChartz just loves the PS3

On topic - I own a Wii, but without leaving my college dorm (or even climbing some stairs) I can get to friends rooms that give me access to 4/5 of the other consoles - PS360Iphone and DS. Someone needs to buy a PSP.

Edit - oh yeah, favourite is Wii for all the juicy 1st party games, and because it has the best motion controlled lineup. DS would be my second purchase if I had more money cos it's the king of RPGs

ps3 - 08' - PRESENT. My favorite console when gaming solo. I'm game mostly solo, so PS3 = favorite console this gen. Has the best games IMO, Free online, Blu ray player, Internet browser, Teh grafix, Like the controller best, etc

Wii - 07' PRESENT. My favorite console when gaming with friends. It's an excellent party system. Has the occasional single player game that I enjoy like SMG2. Free Online. Can't wait for Pikman 3.

360 - RIP 07' - 09'.  had some good times on the system. Probably won't be getting a new one unless I really like Kinect. Has the best splitscreen games IMO. Halo, Gears, L4D, Perfect Dark, All fun with a buddy. Has the occasional solo game that I enjoy like Mass Effect or Fable. My friends hate me for not getting a new 360, but they'll have a PS3 soon enough.

PC - I wish my PC was strong enough to run some games. Can't even play incredibots without it Fuckin up.

The Ps3 has the best 1st party games, best netflix (now that the immediate download deal with microsoft ended), can surf the web, allows blueray and has free online gaming. My problems with the Ps3 are small and mostly relate to poorer online gaming features as compared to the 360.

I won't comment on my wii as I will get banned agAIN, AND i'M TIRED OF COMPLAINING ABOUT THE 360 BECAUSE OVERALL IT IS ONE DANM FINE MACHINE that is just not as worthy of praise as the PS3.

I need to get an emulated Red Dead Redemption...I'd even pay for it.

This gen I've only owned the PS3 and the Wii but sold the Wii last year.

My preferred console hands down is the PS3 because it only does everything! 

got everything but 360 (no point really)  PS3 hands down. Most varied 1st party support, 3rd party support has greatly improved. Online that is free AND doesnt suck. Bluray, web browser, a controller that I can play fighting games without fear of artrithis. A motion controller that actually does what the hell you want it to do. (Kinect is ok too) It would be the perfect system if they could put PS2 compatability in.

Well I own a wii, my brother has a ps3 which is almost like if it was mine. and I had a ds untill it was stolen

I LOVE my wii. I see that some people here just bought it for the motion controls novelty and then sold it. I (like many other nintendo fans) bought it for its games (because I new I liked nintendo games). And I have enjoyed the hell out of it. 

Now with dkcr, sonic colors, epic mickey I´m going to enjoy it even more :)

Also I enjoyed ps3 games. it has some pretty cool games too. And I loved my ds too but it was stolen and I havent bought another one.

preferred console Ds followed closely by wii. 360 and ps3 are tied and my psp is dead to me.
