The series has seen multiple releases, with the first title having been on the SNES. The worldwide sales breakdown for the entire series is a bit surprising though. Japan comes in with 87%, the US at 8%, and Europe with 3%. In other words, the vast majority of that 10 million units sold happened in Japan. |
Not really surprising ... The only JRPG sagas that have huge sale in western markets are Final Fantasy ( Kingdom hearts too ) and Pokemon ....
