Forums - Microsoft - Consumer Reports debunks the 'racist' Kinect

The reality of the situation is Kinect probably has a harder time identifying darker skinned people in low-level lighting conditions.  It certainly isn't 'debukned'  and I don't know many people who actually 'cared' which probably is relative to the low responses this thread has garnered.
