Theres also no reason to believe that the games would be of low quality, the quality of the iPad games especially given their higher price have been improving substantially. A lot of genres are starting to be represented on the system. All Apple would need to do is create a 'blockbuster' category to seperate and highlight the games which are coming in at above the $15 U.S.D price point. |
I think alot of people here are forgetting all it takes is a single console selling game to break a new competitor into the market. Look at Microsoft it had no big/arguably good games until suddenly Halo came out.Then with just Halo (First party wise) Microsoft rose rapidly to over take Nintendo which many would argue had way superior software.
All it takes is one blockbuster AAA game and Apple could break into the industry.
