The problem here is he is being a sexist prick or this is his way of trolling...if he said, this game will appeal to casuals 'ALSO' so they should have put more marketing behind it to reach them then it's fine.

He should have said it would be a great game for ANYONE who is new to gaming and I would agree, it's a great experience

There is a pretty big difference between likeing crime shows and playing crime videogames. I like Crime shows, but I have no interest in playing a game where you are "almost literally dropping the controller".
