So as a lot of you probably know, last year Walmart seemed to be doing a huge push for the 360 with the gift cards that they were giving out, and I would have to say that while the PS3 sold better over the holidays, this did probably have a significant push on the 360 sales.

As a lot of you probably now know, Walmart has now started giving out $50 gift cards with the $399 320GB PS3 Move Bundle.  So what I want to know is do you think they will mostly give the PS3 support similar to what they did with the 360 last year.

Also, I just had to bring this up, but do you think that this gives the PS3/Move Bundle the advantage it needs to outsell Kinect during the holiday season, or will Kinect still blow Move away with its sales.

On another note, I think PS3/Move would be a little more successful this holiday season if they would also have had a $349 Move bundle which would have the 120 GB PS3, what do you guys think?

Well Walmart support would definatly impact sales. Will Walmart exclusively support Sony? I seem to recal Walmart offering a fifty dollar gift card if you purchased a Wii last year. So it would seem Walmart supported both Microsoft and Sony. Plus Target also offered a similiar deal. Yet neither Wii nor 360 really clobbered PS3.

Now about the bundle, yes I think a Move bundle would definatly increase sales of Moves and increase product awareness which in the end could only benefit Sony.  I think the lack of a bundle will work wonders in Microsoft's favour. In the end I think Kinect will outsell Move two to one this holiday season and even exclusive Walmart deals will not be able to make Move outsell Kinect.
