Hmm, so basically what I expected; good reviews for Dance Central, mediocre for everything else. Far too many shady  "birdmen" games. Kinect needs more games like Dance Central and Children of Eden that actually look like they have some effort put in and aren't trying to be crappy Wii third party knockoffs.

Really? A month ago I seem to remember you saying:

Hmm funny, now why wouldn't MS want people to get there hands on this device as soon as possible and spread their impressions? What do they have to hide?

This is just classic MS.. *Wiggles fingers. "Go buy our mediocre product everyone! Don't pay attention to the accounts of lag, or the fact that you cannot play while sitting. Don't pay attention to the fact that it only recognizes two people at a time or that you may need to change your clothes to brighter colors. Don't worry about the fact that it will cost you $300 for an Xbox 360 and another $150 for Kinect, that currently supports 17 games that all look like they are mini games from Mario Party yet cost $60 each."

I don't see what more proof people need that this thing is going to suck, big time. It is all typical smoke and mirrors from MS. Sure it will sell like mad for a couple of months from the sheer novelty of 3D motion controller-less gaming, but expect the sales of this thing to plummet after people realized they were duped into buying an overhyped Eye Toy 2.0 with a bunch of games equivilant to Wii 3rd party shovelware. Seriously, if people think there was a major hardcore bashlash against Nintendo for the Wii, they haven't seen nothin yet. Now the Move may be a shameless Wiimote ripoff but at least Sony is supporting some games for it that aren't an insult to gamers' intelligence.

I particularly love how "At least Sony is supporting some games for it that aren't an insult to gamers' intelligence" and "I don't see what more proof people need that this thing is going to suck, big time" translates to "I knew Dance Central would be a good game." Please stop talking out of both sides of your mouth and pretending like you've given Kinect or its software a fair shake when you clearly haven't.

What's next in this revisionist history you've concocted? I suppose all of us just imagined that the Titanic actually sunk, right?

Yikes, stalker much? Thanks for digging out my 3 week old post. Guess I touched a nerve. I don't really see how that contradicts what I said. I always thought Dance Central looked like a decent game because I trust Harmonix could do a good job, but ONE good looking game out of 17 isn't saying very much. I just can't believe how many people blindly defend this mediocre launch lineup of mostly $60 games, for a piece of hardware that ign says has noticeable lag. If this were Nintendo, people would be ready to crucify them..

You really crack me up. How dare I dig up a three week old post and use your exact words against you? What is this, 3rd grade? I apologize for having the mental capacity to call you on your self-contradictions.

By the way, I'm waiting for you to tell me how you always thought Dance Central looked like a decent game, when you said, and I quote again "At least Sony are support some games for [Move] that aren't an insult to gamers' intelligence." So Dance Central is good, but insults our intelligence at the same time? Do explain, and your argument better amount to something more than trying to paint me as angry or a "stalker" for having the audacity to hold you to your own words. What are you hiding from Metallicube? Upset that everyone doesn't hate Kinect like you do?

Yeeah, please show me in my post where I said  "Dance Central will suck?" Out of 17 games, it looked like the only good one, and I stand by those words. Hell, chances are out of 17 games, at least one SHOULD be good, law of averages and all that..

But really, it still looks like a more sophisticated version of Just Dance. As I said, Kinect needs more games like Children of Eden, that not only look like some effort was actually put in, but actually do their own thing, and aren't just trying to be B rate Wii knock off games. The fact that they are trying to sell these games at 60 bucks boggles my mind..

Look, if people like you are upset that I am speaking my mind, so be it, but I'm not going to sugarcoat something when it looks bad to me. If you said the Wii games are garbage for instance, I may not agree, but I'd at least respect your opinion as long as it was backed up. What I said is my opinion, if it bothers you, tough.

To be fair to him though, you do appear to me as always trashing/dismissing/belittling anything that isn't Wii centric.

I'm not going to dig your post history, because I have more important things to do than trolling you, like he does.  But as far as I remember, you hardly ever show fairness if it's a product that isn't Wii centric.

Hey look, I found another great post from Metallicube showing his love for Dance Central:

OH NOES! You mean I won't be able to play the amazing Dance Central on my Wii!? How will I cope?? Oh well..

*goes back to playing NSMB Wii

I don't know about you guys, but I go and post off-topic drivel in threads for games I think will be good all the time.

Like I said, the OVERALL lineup looks bad. Dance Central looks good (though a bit uninspired). However, it is only ONE GAME. Is that so hard for you to understand? I don't see how that's contradictory.

I belittle some things that I don't like, and yes, much of what I like are Nintendo games. However, I also own an Xbox 360, and love many of its games. Oblivion and Gears are two of my alltime favorite games. I also love certain PC games like Starcraft, Diablo II, and Minecraft. I even owned a PS3 at one point, but sold it soon after. And I actually am more critical than Nintendo than you might think, especially with some of their moves lately (making Other M and Galaxy 2 their flagship games for most of 2010 was a terrible move IMO).

As for the bold: Erm, thanks I guess? :/

I'm sorry, but I'm not an absolute twit like you think I am.

Let me explain this to you one more time:

You said that all Kinect games are insult to gamers' intelligence. Explain to me how that coincides to "I always thought Dance Central was going to be a decent game." I don't care about your Wii comparison, I don't care that you say it's your opinion. I want you to tell me how there's no contradiction between those statements.

It doesn't take much more than adding two and two together to put together that you're either lying in your expectancy for Dance Central to turn out well or you're an absolute hypocrite for lambasting all Kinect games 3 weeks ago while expecting Dance Central to be a good game.

Now I really don't care at this point which of those possibilities it is, what I am sick of is you playing these little games such as trying to turn it around on me for quoting your exact words in a post less than a month old, or now hiding behind the veil of opinion. Games will not work with me. Either answer the question or it's an easy conclusion that one of the two possibilites I mentioned above has occured. Now please explain how those two statements coincide and stop trying to blame me for quoting you or playing the opinion card, but not backing it up when someone calls you on it.

I love your logic. Sorry that I don't have amnesia and can remember people's quotes and call them on contradictions. I guess that makes me a troll, right? You people couldn't debate your way out of a paper bag if your life depended on it.

EDIT: Ah yes, using post history is trolling now. Absolutely brilliant sir.

Ok, then I will revise my statement, just for you themanwithnoname: "all the games look bad EXCEPT Dance Central." Feel better? What I meant was overall it is a bad looking lineup. I didn't imply that EVERY SINGLE game was terrible.

I expected Dance Central to be a good game, but ME personally, I am still not interested in the game, because, well, I can't dance, and I'm not the biggest fan of dancing videogames. To ME, this is still not a game that I would like or buy. But it still looks good as a game.

You care WAY too much about what I say buddy, just enjoy your Kinect games. Who cares about what some guy on the internet says? Who cares if he seemingly contradicted himself (which I didn't)?

So Dance Central is good, but insults our intelligence at the same time?

Nope, your stubborness in calling him out over things that are completely irrelevent to the topic, just because he doesn't see things eye to eye with you, and of course the very way in which you call him out are what factors in my labeling your behavior as trolling.  The obssessive "looking post History to somehow expose his heathen's way" part is just a small aspect of that very behavior you display towards him.

And thanks for acknowledging my logic, by the way. ^_-

Stop making up your own rules, themanwithnoname has not done anything that would constitute trolling (although I'm sure you're rapidly reporting him in a vain attempt, good luck with that)

Metticube is here to troll, and manwithnoname proved that with his post digging.

Opinions of Kinect and its games are irrelevant to the topic? LOL, I'd love for you to prove to me how.

So tell me then, where does your "To be fair to him though, you do appear to me as always trashing/dismissing/belittling anything that isn't Wii centric" come from? Could it possibly come from your recollection of his post history? So we can keep in mind people's post histories, but just not directly quote them or look at them? And I didn't go to his post history, btw, I went to two threads that I knew he posted in and scroll. How did I know this? Because I quoted and called him out in those threads as well. You can go read them, but it might require going into his post history, which, you know, is trolling. Oh wait, I used a direct quote in this post as well, so I guess I must be trolling here too, as well as you, because the only way you can possibly make the point that he trashes/dismisses/belittles anything that isn't Wii centric is from your knowledge of his post history. So I guess you've been trolling here too, right? Like I said, impeccable logic...

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

I'm simply speaking my mind and giving my opinion. If that's considered trolling so be it. You could say manwithnoname is trolling me however, since he is the one trying to stir up some crap.
