It's their stupid ratings that cause self censorship on publishers. Especially with AO rating.

Such law could be beneficial for gamers as publisher would either have to aimfor kid friendly game or could just concentrate on making best mature game possible without worrying that scene x might increase his game from 12 to 16 .

The law seems redundant to me, esrb is there to rate the games already and the minors could just ask their parents to buy it for them anyways.

I did not exactly state a theory but rather that I was worried what the ogvernment would deem unapropriate as well as saying Halo was appropriate for 13 year old and up rather than 17 year olds and up
