Again, there are no extreme liberals in office as we speak. The media always claims there is but there isn't, and gerrymandering is a corrupted sytem. You can say what you want, hold your opinion as true but the facts are still there in plain sight.

Ok... here is what I got out of your statement "I'm right even though I have no proof and nobody else agrees with me...?

Even really liberal people admit their are liberals in congress.   Unlike most conservastives, who actually feel there are no conservatives in washington... which is the real reason the tea party was formed.  Lack of fiscal conservatives.

What's your point with the map?  That the Democrats got killed because they pursued an extremely unpopular and very liberal agenda?

My point is arguing with people like you - who are afraid of mexicans, still think pot is like meth, view gays as second class citizens, and screach out "tax cuts" but we all know its for the rich, don't beieve in science or global warming would not be an issue, and think that god will come to America one day - is fun. Glad I only have to hat you and not live among you.

...I'm pretty sure that Kasz works with tons of mexicans, is pro-drugs for legalization, is pro-gay marriage and wants a flat tax. I don't think there has ever been a poster on VGC that has been more ill-informed than you.

Oh, and if you want gerrymandered district that favors extreme liberals, I can provide you a list.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Ahahahahahah, if you stick your foot any farther into your mouth, you're going to choke.

So you're saying that Dennis Kucinich isn't even among the Top 100 most liberal people in the House because you've heard from other people in his district that they don't like him? Do you have an actual list that might rank the House members in some way as to support your claim? I'll take Political Compass, I don't care. I'd just like some actual proof.

Also, Kucinich was hated when he was a mayor too. But that's an entirely different matter.

His voting record in 2008 was the 187th most liberal according to the National Journal. Their more recent vote ratings are behind a paywall, but if anything he has probably moved down and not up over the past couple of years.

Fantastic, thank you. I never knew Kucinich was so outmatched.

Oh, and see, this is why conservative opinions rule Off Topic. Not just because Obama was an utter disappointment and killed all the liberal hype we saw back in 2008, but because most of the liberal posters now are either really crazy or incredibly angry. Debating is fine, but don't embarrass the left please. Both sides have good points to offer.

Still, though, according to Political Compass, Kusinich is in the moonbat quadrant of American politics:

Hey I'm still happy with Obama, and I'm one of the most liberal nutjobs here.

I just use this scorecard to keep track of him.  He's doing great.

Fact: American extreme liberals =  closer to a moderate in the rest of the world. Do some research on politics around the world, the U.S media does not define the world.

Just because you post a lot on politics in a form does not make you a guru.

Oh, sorry that I didn't read your previous post but I'm pretty sure I was not even talking to you when I entered this thread. If you think attacking someone's intelligence as a conversation starter, than you need to no longer wonder why you can't get laid. You are not correct, you are politically correct, which means you are always wrong.

I am not an extreme liberal, I'm an "independent," but I don't let a label define me. I will always vote liberal simply because they are the only ones that create less wars and to some extent progress human equality. This is more important than money, the economy, and traditions but apparently no thinks so because their actions shows the contrary. If I was going to start a business, I would hire a republican.

So if Reps get congress and Dems get the senate and neither are willing to even try and work with the other, I can guess what that means?

i'll finish it for you. nothing (as mostly for the past 2 yrs) gets done.

False.

Read up on politicial parties around the world at politicalcompass.org.

An extreme American politician (Cynthia McKinney or Dennis Kusinich) is as extreme as you find in most other parties. I'd suggest you do more research on the matter. Yes, most Dems are 'centrist' in actuality (compared to European countries), but if you look at the parties on political compass, you still find that some dems are wayyy to the left of political aggregatges in Europe and Australia.

Yeah, the loss of Halogamer really hasn't helped that balance much.
