I don't have AMC HD and I'm trying to decide if I want to watch The Walking Dead on AMC with no HD's or rent it from Zune marketplace on my 360 and have plenty of HD's, does anyone know how long it typically takes shows to appear on those type of places?

I say just watch it on AMC.

I've seen how Mad Men looks on it though.  Luckily The Wife doesn't mind her shows in standard but I like my shows in HD whenever possible.  Luckily I have about 1200 MS Points sitting around, I just don't want to wait a long time to watch it.

Now don't quote me on this, but I think it would be a little while after the season ended. So you might be waiting awhile.

I don't use iTunes, so I'm not so sure about that, but I am able to look some stuff up on the Zune Marketplace. You mentioned Mad Men, so I looked that up, and the episode from 10/17/10 and all before that are already on there. Another one of my favorite shows, The Office, already has the episode that was just on this Thursday (10/28/10). Some of my other favorite tv shows, The Mentalist, and Criminal Minds aren't available at all. Another show I've been watching lately is IRT: Deadliest Roads, and the episode from 10/24/10 is already on there. I'm not familiar with AMC tv shows, but if you watch Rubicon, the 10/17/10 episode is already on there. As for movies, I'm not 100% sure, but I think Kick-Ass was a Summer movie and it says that was a "new release" in the Zune program.

Thanks for doing the research!  The Wife is about to go to bed in 30 minutes so if it's on there by then, I'll watch it on the 360 (which I doubt it will), otherwise, I already have it recording.  I don't like being patient.  :-p
