wheres the option for both cause thats whay ill be doing. even though the DS pissed me off and the 3DS line up is not impressive to my eyes( too much ports, remakes) ill get 3DS for the hell of it, and PSP2 becasue I still think PSP is the best portable around (except for GBA)

yet currently 83 out of 229 forum users voted to buy the product that hasn't been shown yet. Sony must love these customers cause they would buy Sony's product without knowing the actual spec of the product or any games available on the product. Brand loyalty does exist.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Not enough information yet. It may be a question of which do I buy first in the end.
If the price is the same, it boils down to soft support.
If both handhelds get the same big IP franchises I tend to play on consoles, it's a tougher call. I don't buy everything Nintendo publishes, so that's not the final word.
Hate to admit this, but two analog nubs is pretty huge for me. It means the same control set ups with analog stick for camera control as console, the lack of which has been my biggest complaint about the PSP. It's also my only major complaint about the 3DS.
If PS2 games are playable on the PSP2, there's no doubt I'll be getting one; it's just a question of when.
as of right now I would have to say 3ds. It looks really awesome. I´d have too see what psp2 has to offer too though. It would be a tough decision if psp2 also has 3d.
Certainly the 3DS. Although probaly not at launch, I'll likely wait for the redesign, 3DSLite or whatever it ends up being called.
