Forums - Gaming - Playstation Move Vs. Xbox 360 Kinect: Metacritic

I'm glad(?) there's a dedicated dance game coming for PS3, because early reviews of Singstar Dance seem to suggest the dance aspect is not well done. A bit like The Fight, you pretty much have to be a good dancer [fighter] going in because there's no learning curve.

I agree with including Eyepet but excluding Heavy Rain. Eyepet is a motion control game whether you use a Move controller or not. Heavy Rain can be a motion controlled game, and it can be played without motion controls (well I guess there's a bit of sixaxis action going on in there if you use DS3 only, but everyone seems to dismiss sixaxis as not being motion control for some reason).

Interesting both fight games are getting shit reviews. But I reckon in both cases it's because they require too much skill and fitness to be enjoyed, and not enough gamers/reviewers have the necessary skill or fitness.

I've played The Shoot demo and it's a lot of fun and accurate. But I think it should have been a PSN title and not released at the full retail Move price. Probably same with Start the Party. I can see these games dropping in price really quickly. The Shoot especially is in the "it's a fun game, but not at that price" Metacritic zone. I'll be getting Start the Party once it's about half the current price.

Sports Champs is a really great launch title. I've got it and really enjoying all the sports. Good replay value, and I haven't even played much multiplayer action. I think it's a better auto-bundle than Kinect Adventures, a pity SC is only auto-bundled in North America, I think they'll need to start auto-bundling elsewhere some time.

Yikes, what is it about motion games that most devs can't even to make quality games?

Its higher then both Goldeneye and Fable III. I don't know if thats sad or good.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Socom 4, KZ3, LBP2 , child of eden (kinect as well) should be added for the PS Move

sure they are hybrids but they count as Move titles because majority of future move titles will be Hybrids, hell even Kinect future titles will be hybrids

Also NBA2k11 should be added. All future games Post launch that have Move apart of there core game play should be added to the list

kinect hybrids? that would make the whole "you are the controller" gimmick obselete for Kinect LOL                        but yeah i think what differenciates move and kinect is that you can use the original controller and motion controller.

"You are the controller" is just to grab the casuals. Kinect hybrids will be to grab the hardcore gamer.

Someone from the complaining camp should just make anew thread containing all games that support the controllers, then people that care about core games with motion controls will have a place to look.

Or the author of this thread good just edit his first post to create 2 tables,

-Motion Exclusive games

-Motion including Hybrid Games

Ah... common sense.  Nice to see.  Sadly it'll probably be ignored.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Excluding the better Move games is typical looking at the topicstarters reputation.

so judging both line ups.....Kinect has better games

therefore Kinect is better?

Anyone else find it funny how Wii Sports, Kinect Sports and Sports Champions all have the same metacritic score based on my last visit to metacritic and the opening post.

Pixel Art can be fun.
