If you would have read my other post you would have seen what I said..... My apologies for assuming that you actually read my other post.

To me this gen I played to hardcore tactical shooters, killzone 2 was not one of them. Your taking this to a level it doesn't need to be at. Your language towards me ins't necessary either I didn't once curse at you I would expect the same respect, we are having a discussion if you can't keep you emotions in tact I think this conversation is over. Read my other post then understand why I responded the way I do because unlike you I talked about what I didn't like about the game and you attacked me personal for no reason. Please that's weak sauce.

It is your opinion the game is hardcore, I know a bunch of guys of believe Socom isn't hardcore, It's not something you nor I can prove, so instead of basing your post on facts, or aspects of the game that make it hardcore, you curse and attack me personally.

yeah I have no idea what the hell your talking about I read your post and can't find it.

and can you name the 2 tactical shooters you played? I wanna see what you consider hardcore and tactical.

 Socom is VERY hardcore,

and re read my post I've said nothing but facts.

oh cursing is what I do I'm sorry, if I'm angry or happy I'll curse just a heads up, nothing personal just who I am.

The post at the top of page 3. The only games I feel that were really hardcore this gen was operation flashpoint, and Socom. Everything else seems very similar. Now granted Killzone 2 is different from MW2, I never played any other COD so I can't compare but I guess my definition of hardcore is different then others. I see a game all about gun game and teamwork as hardcore. Some people just call flashpoint slow and boring, and I ran across some people who thought socom was dumb. Maybe I should revisit killzone 2 before I lump it into the casual category because I agree MW2 is very casual and killzone 2 and MW2 are very different games.

Don't worry about the cursing part, I took it as personal attacks but after a re-read I see you ment no ill will, just getting your point across. It's all good.

Just saying, but your talking about operation flash-point, the original right?
Because if you are then your gonna have to include Arma and Arma 2.
Both of them are probably more realistic.
If your talking about the new Operation Flash-point then, no, it s not at all realistic.

I can only talk about games I played.... can't speak on arma and arma2. Not really big on PC games. We really weren't talking about realistic, we were talking about what we considered hardcore there is a difference there.

No, actually there isn't a difference.
People call the games they like and/or and good at hardcore, only realistic games are hardcore.
IMO of course.

fair enough. Operation Flashpoint had more genuine combat things in it then any game I played on the console, part 2 that is. Socom is always recongnized as realistic because of the no health regan or respawn. I call Socom Hardcore because it's a very hard game to even become decent at, you have to know your weapon and spray and prey never works..

Awesomest video I've seen yet:

Set it to 720p.  The reload animations alone are incredible, and I'm loving the new shotgun.

did you play KZ2 ? because i don't see the difference between 2 and 3 in the animations side.

also that scope on the shotgun is probably costumizable, you see on the OP's videos that scope is placed on a rifle, either that or its a helghan scope and the other is ISA.

Edit: i think you mean't the sewn off shotgun.

Of course I played Killzone 2!  I clocked over 100 hours into the game when you include the beta.

And in what way doesn't it look much different?  Do you mean gameplay?  Because they're still using the same HUD from Killzone 2 with a few adjustments, so superficially they do look rather similar.  The game new modes, perks, adjusted controls, and other changes that make a much different (and from all acounts much improved) experience vs Killzone 2.

In terms of graphics, well this is Killzone 3, and this was Killzone 2.  Looks like quite a step up to me.  :P

And then there's the new melee kills which highlight both new gameplay and improved graphics/animations.

As a side note, I think a lot of people remember Killzone 2 looking a lot better than it did, which is probably why we get a good number of "it looks like Killzone 2" comments.  The game looked excellent in motion, and I think most remember that beautiful fluidity more than anything else, thus the vastly inferior overall level of detail vs Killzone 3 isn't immediately that apparent.

I logged at total 360 hours in killzone 2 and that spans a time of about 3-4 months (quit once they screwed up the gameplay)

longest time I spent online in a single game was 26 hours straight in killzone 2, me and my friends all over the world (some were from UK, Sweden, Lebanon) all watch the sun rise and set while playing on a single server..... good times, some I'll never forget.

How can you last more than a single day with two hours playing one match? O.O

awww man, it was the day of the release of the last map pack (napalm/corridite) one of my friends set up a server only playing on those maps, and he MAXXXED out the settings, every mode was 30minutes a piece, now there's 7 modes total so yeah, some LONG ass matches. rockets and grenade launcher banned as usual. all classes available. 32 players, and it was double points weekend.

I remember waking up at like 6-7am est. time, and getting online at 9am on the dot. my controller hit the floor and I like passed out at 11:30am....the next day. I remember me and my friend who live in Ky, watched the sun come up. can't tell you how many bottles of red bull, sprite and hot pockets were consumed in that time between those of us playing but I'm sure it was enough to feed an entire small country. 20 boxes and bottles from me alone, we had about a minute 30 seconds between each match, used that for bathroom/food breaks.

now killzone leaderboards rank player by day, week, and overall, 90% of that server made up the days top 1 percent on the leaderboards, some were ranked 5th and 7th lol, I was 32th. I got around 20,000 points in that weekend alone.

most fun I've ever had playing online, I mean after mid day we were just playing for fun, (rushing in the enemy base seeing how many kills you could get before the botz got you)

the true beauty of that was the server list, we didn't have to worry about leaving to re establish a party, just message your friends the name of the server and if a spot was open he was there. and the fact that it was player hosted ded. servers the guy who created didn't have to stay online. in fact when we all left that server it stayed active for weeks later. here's to hoping the modable server list is atleast still there for kz3, and here's to all the guys the made it that whole time XD

Hahaha, that's awesome. The most I've played was 6 hours with my clan one day, it was an all-nighter vs. bots and us just talking on the mics. Got plenty of laughs that day.
