PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E
What are your thoughts, evolution? Do you still think it's gone completely casual?
(and no, these aren't sarcastic questions)
totally......... controls much easier watch first vid just a massacre, and the weapons do more damage.
there's perks need I say more.
and what I find crazy is that they lowered the player count and increased the size of the maps and added vehicles......
now the status of the dedicated server/server list is still unknown, they did add party system and keep talking about "improved matchmaking" so I'm not holding my breath,
this game so far looks like it will be EXACTLY what Battlefield Bad Company 2 was to Battlefield Bad Company 1 meaning more like call of duty and less like killzone
might just give away my beta code....
I will admit, the recoil I'm seeing as well as weapon damage concerns me...not only that, but the sniper rifle...just look how accurately he's hitting them without scoping...
Regarding perks, I don't mind them, but they better be balanced.
As for lowered player count, is that confirmed?
Although I hate how casuals are getting their way with just about every game these days, I think I still will end up buying this, though. Not gonna lose hope until I actually try it out (or read reviews).
lol truthfully I'm totally lying about not getting the game, I protested bad company 2 and still brought it, same for that royal piece of shit MW2 (which I'm currently in the process of going through prestige......pray for me) at the end of the day I still love fps and you know what they say "if you can't beat em"
I'm like the younger killzone version this guy
he can bitch all he want's, at the end of the day nothing will change and he'll still end up buying it
my worry is that this mentality that hardcore tactical games shouldn't even exist and that games like MW2 are actually hardcore will desensitize fps well into next gen.

I completely agree. This is why I hate mainstreamers.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

I'm with you on everything except the bolded. One of the things I didn't like about KZ2 was half the games on the list were full 32 players in a small stage like radec academy. That got kinda annoying sometimes as many would simply spam grenades all day. This also lead to less freindly fire enabled rooms because people didn't want to actually take care in where they throw their nades.

which is was I meant, the 32pl on the smaller maps in killzone 2 was indeed overkill, but now in killzone 3 they have maps the can support the 32 and they lower the player count.
Call me crazy but I see Killzone as a casual FPS. I like what I'm am seeing. There was no strategy involved in the last game, the maps were too small, there was too many players, all you had to do is chuck grenades and you got a ton of kills. It looks a lot better to me.
I'm not martin luther king. I don't have a dream. I have a plan
Sell a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish you just ruined a perfect business opportunity.
We didn't emerge out of the stone age because we ran out of stones. Its time to be proactive not reactive.

see first I was going to bold the no strategy part but your whole post reaks of FAIL
the lager player count wasn't forced on you via modifiable servers, you can play killzone 2 online and never play a 32 player game at all.

run along now, back to call of duty with you.
Don't be so snobby. Its no way to get people interested in a series you like so well.
