Then no-one would have been allowed to publish reviews

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

New Vegas is Fallout 3 part 2 with tons of fun and tons of annoying glitches. It is just sad that companies can't take the criticism if your game is good then the mera avg will say so and if it isn't then expect to see that too.

This whole "game companies are in charge of the review system" is getting ridiculous.  Just recently, MS won't be letting reviews for Kinect and its games surface until sometime after it launches.  And now (if this is proven to be true), Bethesda doesn't want negative reviews to go out because some reviewers are turned off by the myriad of bugs and glitches.  Why not just fix the bugs?  I kind of miss the older days of console gaming where developers had to make damn sure there weren't any game killing bugs or their product would flop.  Now, they started to get lazy, like some game developers on PC, and just rely on an endless stream of updates and fixes.  Granted, I realize that catching ALL bugs is next to impossible, but some have started to shove their products out before it's fully tested.

The real point, however, is that no gaming developer/publisher should have a say in how a review is conducted or posted.  If you think your product is worthy of us purchasing, then put up or shut up.

This is a huge problem. I can't believe people actually side with Bethesda and thinks they are doing the right thing.

Using threats to ensure they get good reviews. Disgusting.

Wow I didn't know they could do that!  But Fallout: New Vegas is awesome even with all the glitchy crap and horrible graphics.

we all know this goes on all of the time. I'm just wondering how you can defend them releasing a game with bugs and glitches, shoul'dnt they have dealt with all of that before they came out with the game.fixing all of this with a patch is just lazy to me,with all of that said,I'm still getting this game, but at the start of next year. lol
