Questioning other people's choices, hm? I like Moulin Rouge as well (and many other musicals such as Singin' in the Rain, West Side Story, Top Hat, The Band Wagon).

OT:
As I already have far too many DVDs (and plan to give away several hundreds of them), I decided not to buy many Blu-Rays. Probably only my favorite Ghibli and Pixar movies and some digitally restored Disney classics.

While I don't care for the visual difference of most live-action movies, animation movies look gorgeous in HD in my opinion, even on a smaller flatscreen (e.g. Up or The Frog Princess, which I already own).

So my next purchase will probably be one of my most favorite Disney classsics:

I would reccommend and Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks animated movie that is available. The HD quality of their movies are fantastic.

Other include:

Transformers 1&2
Iron Man 1&2
Matrix Trilogy
District 9
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Underworld 1&2 Prequel

Those are just a few, obviously. I could name the majority of my huge Blu-ray collection but that would take a long time

Also, if you want good deals on Blu-ray movies, please buy them from Amazon. The prices on there are far cheaper than any store you can walk into. They have deals all the time and do free shipping as well.
