I can play a released game, I cannot play a unreleased game so it is a fact no matter how much you dislike it. I have no intention of picking up the new Fallout for now so I cannot comment on it. I found Gears 2 fine for me at launch but then again I wasn't one of those people who bitched about the fact it wasn't Gears 1 and they couldn't run around never using anything but the shotgun or sniper rifle. Sure there were some niggles but it wasn't hopelessly broken or unenjoyable to play. The mistakes they made on Gears 2 could have been avoided with a beta which they are rectifying for Gears 3. I actually think Gears 2 was more enjoyable around Title update 3 than it is now they've pandered to the shotgun crew. I personally didn't have an issue with it being released as I didn't have the problems many did. It wasn't the bugs that bothered people most, they just whined because they didn't want to adapt to the new playing style imo.
BTW - I cannot wait for the crow you'll be eating when all the GT5 bugs come out, and they will come. Longer development time does not mean less bugs in any shape or form but you keep pretending thats the case if you like. |
When did you ever say that PLAYING the game was the fact in question. You said Released game > Unreleased games which, for me, it clearly doesn't if the game is not functioning properly. LMAO.
I don't care how Gears is gameplay wise and that you can run around with shotgun and whatever. That's not what I'm talking about. What I'm talking about is that one of the most anticipated games on "The KING of Online" had MAJOR online issues at launch and not seeing a patch for months. This is something that should've been fixed before the launch of Gears 2, not Gears 3. FAIL.
And will I be eating crow? No, I won't, because I don't care enough about your 'internet forum customs' to be doing that. My life goes on without even thinking about what I said in this thread. And did I say there would be no bugs in the game? No I didn't. Do I believe development time have something to do with more bugs being ironed out? YES I do! You even said so yourself: "The mistakes they made on Gears 2 could have been avoided with a beta which they are rectifying for Gears 3." - So BETA is not a part of development time? Fail much? Like really, how can you put "The mistakes they made on Gears 2 could have been avoided with a beta which they are rectifying for Gears 3." and "Longer development time does not mean less bugs in any shape or form but you keep pretending thats the case if you like." in the same post? Try to convince me I got it all wrong by spewing some more bullshit now. I'll be waiting... OH, and waiter: Bring me a year supply of strawberry flavored crow while you're at it. I know you can't afford your own, so I'll buy it for you. I'm nice am I not?
Dismissed.
