Forums - Gaming - Why do people dislike Medal Of Honor?

I don't like these modern war games. I'd rather play the old school MOH and COD, especially BIA games. They have good stories, because they are true stories. That's what I liked about the games more than anything. Hardly anybody likes to talk to old people and ask about their past. Playing a game about some old person's past is the only way we will enjoy hearing about it.

You've been playing it, right?

I take it the lack of recoil hasn't bothered you much?

That is exactly why i liked this game, it has a storyline and the storyline is based off a true story.

i haven't given that a thought actually, since the gun i always use is the standard rifle.

Personally the brand name is worthless to me, EA has churned out so many crappy MOH games that I feel no need to waste my time and money hoping that one might be worth my 10 hours and $60.

there is no lack of recoil.   at least not that I have seen.   All guns seem to behave like I expect them to

i'm  asking why people dislike the game, not why people don't want to buy the game.

I like the game, but I don't love the game. This is the rare time were,I like the single player better than the multiplayer. I don't like the map designs in the multiplayer,I don't like the lack of game modes in the multiplayer,I don't like the lack of wepon choices,I don't like the lack of health in multiplayer,I don't like the stupid point system to get to the few kill streaks, and I bascially don't like the lack of maps and variety in multiplayer. Call of duty does all of these things much, much, much better in my opinion. The game was worth the purchase for 2 reasons,The fresh take on the single player(my opinion) and the medal of honor frontline game, which is my favorite medal of honor game,I'm having a good time with that game, even with the dated graphics. So,I don't dislike the game,I just think the competion does it much, much, much better.

I was slightly interested in it, but then it got critically canned

I don't care if it's good or bad, I'm tired of generic modern day Military shooters. I played Tom Clancy games for years before COD:4 MW came out, by the time MW2 came out I was burnt out with this theme. I just don't think it brings anything new to the table, and it sound really basic.
