Forums - Sony - Polyphony Say GT 5 Delay Is Just 3 Days?!! WTF...

I honestly don't know how Sony could let this game be delayed when a final release date was given at E3. In my opinion they  should do everything possible to at least make a november release date. 2011 release will kill this game

PS3 needs GT5 to release this holiday season. Especially with the added delay for LBP2. The two are obviously unrelated but could have repercussions on holiday sales :(

Seems like GT5 will end up being a rushed project to make it on time /sarcasm

Honestly if all this is happening because of hackers I understand $ony delaying it.  All I can say is F*** HACKERS!!!!!  Like Darth is saying I rather have this game hit 10mil if it needs to be delayed to prevent Hacking so be it.

Dude, it definitely is NOT the best race track in the world..

OT: It was just because PS3 firmware version 3.50 wasn't on the disk, the extra delay is due to blu ray manufacturers having a full work load and moving 7 million pieces of software to a different set of dates is a nightmare for them.

but have you seen the track though. It is Australia's Nürburgring and every year when the international drivers come that are like are you serious. But it has the fastest straight and corner in touring car racing and has had 20 milllion fans to watch the race.

so in my opinion it is the best track

I'm an Aussie so yeah I've seen the track.. Also 'fastest straight'? Really? Any straight can be the fastest if it's long enough.. It has it's good qualities but I can name so many circuits that are more exciting to watch or more of a challenge to the driver.. In saying all this, I'm a F1 fan, V8 Supercars and Nascar don't do it for me to be honest, European Touring cars are more exciting and as I said F1.. 

Watching the F1's roar around Albert Park is something to behold

This. It might stir a few hardcores away, but look at all these GT5 dates/rumors threads. Building up online hype, and, imo, that's the best hype. 3 days would be sweet, but only time will tell.
