After spending 10 weeks trapped in a 600 metre underground mine, the 33 Chile Miners have been rescued. Over night celebrities but a life time of nightmares. Miraculously they did not die in the under ground Earth quake that trapped them in the  underground mine. 

For 17 days they were considered dead, 6 weeks later the Chile miners have been rescued by drilling experts and rescue teams. 

Brilliant story to see the 33 Chile miners being rescued after spending such a long time in hell. Miracles can happen. The human survival instinct kicks in when life is on the line. Long live the Chilean Miners. 

33 Chilean miners have been freed from 10 week rock grave. The world  hopes the miners all make  it back to the surface.

As of now only 12 of the men are rescued. 21 are still down there. It's not over yet, but hopefully soon.

If there was a like on this site, I would like that a lot...

I mean, for crying out loud people, they were arguing about who gets to come out last cause they wanted to make the most money due to that.  That's gotta be the most ungrateful people I've ever heard of.

I've been watching the progress of the rescue on sky whenever I got the chance, with all the doom and gloom on news its a refreshing change to have a story with a happy ending, and you'd have to have a heart of stone to not give a shit.

Why do I have to have a heart of stone not to care? It's a nice story,but I DO NOT CARE. Each time I changed it to the news channel,the would say another one has been rescued,did they have to mention that after each one came up. I'll say it again,I DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Each to the own, but I personally think you have to be a bit heartless to not care, I can see how people might get sick of seeing or hearing about it on the news though, bit like how I got sick of hearing about the BP pumping disaster.

A story like this gives hope to a world ravaged by continuous conflict, problems and wars. Miracles can happen in an imperfect world. Where there is life, there is hope for humanity.
