Yes supposedly you spend 2400pts and you get 800 back (whether you have the points in your account already or buy the 2400 then spend it... it doesn't matter) It's basically buy two full priced XBLA games get one free. You can use it for DLC as well as I bought The Sacrifice and The Writer.
It's just that simple.
