I have never listened to Tupac. He has been dead since like the mid 1990s. I once  heard Tupac faked his own death and he is living in  Mexico.

Notorious B.I.G. shot dead at 24. Tupac dead at 25. Young and dead makes musicians/singers more famous by default. There music is ordinary but they are famous because they were  killed by rival gang bangers. 

Jimi Hendrix/Jim Morison and Kurt Kobain all dead at 27. Without being dead they would of just been another singer and not worth the time of day. Nirvana and The Doors are ordinary but their mysterious deaths make them famous.
