I think kinect will be a big factor this holidays tbh...if it does well MS will be well off..if it doesn't they are gonna have a big problem on their hands. Potential is there tho for certain to be a HUGE success...but depending on the marketing budget (If someone knows the numbers for this do let me know) nothing short of great success might be satisfactory.

Same for move but doesn't look like Sony si gonna do a huge (in comparison at least) marketing push for until december (maybe late November)...Coca Cola deal should help

Either way holidays will be good for the HD's...

Wii is a wildcard...especially thanks to the last holiday season.

many would of bought a ps1-2 for there kids and played some GT. And with GT5 and Sony's big hoilday push it will push many consoles out the door in EMEAA

Sony can sell 5 million consoles alone from GT5 this season.

Could DS sales actually substantially decrease due to people holding off for the 3DS?

For it'll be new colors, possibly a price drop and that new wiimote. I don't think DKCR will do much better than Galaxy, but I could be wrong.
