Vaguely inspired by this thread.

Anyhow, are there any strongly acclaimed high-profile games,  that you have, for one reason or another, never played? I can certainly think of many, for example:

Every Halo game, except for #3, (Because I didn't own the original Xbox, and frankly, I'm not a big fan of the series.)

The Diablo games, (No logical reason, actually.)

Ico, (Wasn't even aware of this game's existence, until it was too late to hunt it down anymore.)

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, (Again, I didn't own the original Xbox, and I really couldn't find the PC version anywhere.)

And many, many more.

So, go nuts.

Acclaimed but dont care for:

Any Halo

Any Call of Duty

Any GTA

Metal Gear Solid after number 1

Any Tomb Rider and derivative thereof

Any Final Fantasy after 7

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Acclaimed and want to play:

Ico

Shadow of Colossus

God of war Series - too much blood and nudity for my tastes

Rachet and Clank series- Graphics are too childish for my tastes

Gran turismo series - too realistic for my tastes

Grand theft auto series - Too much violence for my tastes

Devil may cry series - I just never got the chance. I might pick up that reboot but only if Dante quits smoking.

Call of duty (any  hyper realistic shooter) - too realistic for my tastes

God of War 3, Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.  Great games with glowing reputations that don't get my juices flowing at all.

God of War 3 doesn't excite you? Really?! My my... the game has boobs in it dude. Better yet, female boobs! (And big ones too)

Never played Ico or Shadow of the Colossus, but im pretty excited for the hd remakes

HD boobs, eh?  I've seen them in The Saboteur and Conan but the boobs in GoW3......hmm.  You've planted the seed in my head.

It's on Steam. It's like ten dollars US. Less, maybe, I would need to check.
