Forums - Sony - How to handle a PSP memory stick that false reads too little space.

If you have a second memory stick, there's a cool feature on the Psp-copy your data by doing this: put in the stick with your save data.  Choose "copy". Put in the second stick.  Once you've copied all of your data reformat that original stick.

In the future, always buy Sony sticks.  There's a noticeable difference between the performance of their cards and other companies.  Oh, btw, I had this issue before.  I just took the card out, turned of my PSP, took the battery out, and put everything back together.  Never had that problem again.

Like? i want to know because i want to get a 16 GB one.

Okay, I still got that screen after formatting, and got it after trying what d21lewis suggested, but it turns out it didn't stop either a saved game or a systems setting save.

So was the game doing that just because?

the saves are not gone? are you sure you formatted it? , try deleting them normally then.

I formatted after moving, then moved the saves back. And the saves were not the problem. What happened was I still got the "not enough space to save screen", tried playing the game just in case, saved, and that happened normally. So I cheked the saved data, and not only was there a save, but a system settings save. That warning screen didn't even show up again now.
