Forums - Sony - 360 controller on ps3

I don't have a wired 360 controller so I can't try it out myself yet. Can you use a wired 360 controller on ps3? Or is there some third party controller shaped like 360 controller for ps3?

No you cant,  but there are a few that you can use that have similar shapes to the 360 controller. There used to be a pretty good wireless one from Rocketfish but I think its no longer available.   I would just check either a Best Buy or Amazon for PS3 controllers

Here is one for example

Damn. But thanks. :)

at the end of this year, GIOTEK will bring their new controller to the ps3

here is a link!

there is an adapter that allows 360 controller to be used on PS3. Here :

^^^ i dont think that works anymore, Sony Disabled those type of products unless its fully Licensed by Sony which i completely doubt

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

You also need to consider that the 360 controller does not have the Sixaxis motion control function, some games make use of it. Examples: Killzone 2, Ratchet & Clank: A crack in time, etc.

I dont think so because MS was well within their rights to do what they did with the non-licensed memory cards
