Game have a 'flavour of the month' with regards to attempting to push stuff onto people. Last time I went in there they tried to get me to buy Move controllers, the times before that it was a DSi XL, an XBox Elite, a Wii Motion Plus, etc, etc, etc.
Never anything to do with PSP though...

Oddly enough most people in this thread commenting about what jnuel has said on other sites/threads have made similar comments on this site about other consoles. Plus all those things do not take away the validity of her current comment anyway. Since this is a standard procedure for these types of stores.
I don't have a retailer named GAME, so I can't comment. However at Gamestop all they ever do is try to get me to buy strategy guides. I haven't heard a word from them about Kinect yet. They did ask me to preorder Gears 3 when I bought Reach, though.

Then call them out like DIrty did, there would be much less trolling.
Those kind of stores, from what I know, do that with everything. They aren't trying to force it, just giving suggestions, probably because they received a certain amount of shipment and have a target for the amount of stock they want cleared. Not everything is a conspiracy theory (in this case, Microsoft being the ones pulling the strings).
