Quite an interesting read. I'm only half way through but I thought I'd post it for others who like to dive more into how the industry and its products came to be.

Hmm... seems I need to insert some Kinect hate into this thread to get people interested. Okay.. here I go. Go easy on me, it's the first time I'll be bashing Kinect.

Yes I am. Doesn't mean it isn't a rip off though. It uses the same type of comedy (in many cases the same jokes), the same character archtypes and has the same style and production values. Plus one guy doesn't do all the work on the show. The two shows have different teams behind them while maintaining key figure heads. But that's besides the point.

Either enjoy reading the article and discussing it or make fun of Kinect to generate more buzz :P

Interesting article. People bash Matrick but he has really turned the 360 division around, in terms of financial results.
