the new dev kits will probably be backwards compatible so no need for the old dev kits to make PSP games instead have a new one that can make PSP1/2 games, its the same way IPhone / IPad kits are made.

there's still games coming out for 2011, valkyria chronicles 3 doesnt even have a release date here. of course if psp2 comes out at the end of 2011 it makes sense that ppl would stop making games for psp now, still there's a lot of future releases that might need to wait untill 2012 like agito on eu, and us shores.

so very probably psp will be dead.... in 2013.

no one will ever forget psp, the only handheld that stayed in the market for so long with ninty being at the helm of domination, psp, going where no handheld has been before

From the sound of it GDC reveal is likely imo. Can't wait :D But till then the line up will keep me happy. Price cut for this holiday season would have made great sense but most likely we will see one early next year

Cool beans :) ... I hope they announce it there haha

I'm a broke college student but I'm picking every penny and nickel I see on the ground up and throwing it in a jar its my hopeless new handheld console fund :3

I've found almost $6 dollars this week alone ;)

I dunno if it'll go towards a 3ds or the psp2 yet cause I don't know the pricing or games or anything that will be on them but its pretty fun watching it all pile up haha if anyone else is short on money I totally recommend doing this.
