I don't think it should be spread all around, just enough so the poor can eat. Get a shower in. actually live in a heated house, apartment and get health care. the rest, getting a bigger better house or getting objects that are just pure non necessity. should be earned. Jobs like wal-mart that can't even pay your rent or bills are a joke. you can't live off of what these jobs provide. which is what bush did is eliminate the middle class jobs, asshole. I don't think those things should be free but I do think jobs should pay enough to survive on. I guess thats what I'm trying to say.
HEALTH CARE SHOULD BE FREE. THATS THE ONLY ONE THAT SHOULD BE FREE. I worked at a company, got hurt on the job, fired 3 days later because they didn't want to deal with the issue. cut my health care that day and I was screwed with out a job and not able to work because my condition. I won a in court but for pennies of what they should have paid me. I was out of work for almost 2 years. When I was with them I earned about $30,000 a year. after it was said and done I got $15,000 dollars. my docter bills where about 10,000 dollars. lawyer fees about $3,000. This whole situation screwed my whole life up and thank god I got friends and family. So I got 2,000 dollars for 2 years of pain and borrowing money, which I paid back but took me forever.
This company had a job for my condition too. They where assholes and thought I was to young to get a lawyer and get do something. I was broke and had to go with a lawyer that only gets paid if I do and he was not very good. So you can be a hard worker and get screwed because the big money makers don't give a rats ass. if my medical expenses where taken care of this would have been a lot easier. first you know how much I had to do to get the attention that I needed. what a joke.
By the way I hurt my upper back, poped out My 4rth vertabrae, mucle and tissue damage. Which if you ever felt this pain you would know what I'm talking about. I couldn't breath heavy a lot of the time. I had to take short breaths because of all the pain that it caused me.
So in closing we need a little more security if things like this happpen. I had people who cared for me, if I didn't I would have been on the street and screwed. SO just don't make it so damn hard to survive. I worked hard and only missed one day in a year. We shouldn't worry about getting sick and having to go to the ER and find out we have the flu, get a iv and some benadryl to stop the puking and sent home . In two weeks you get a bill over 5,000 because you don't have health insurance( this happen to me when I was hurt). what are you going to do now. they will put a lean on your house. Take your pay checks(they didn't have anything to take cause I was alread broke without a job, but they threatened). yea it gets dirty. IF this stops the economy will sky rockit back up because workers are conifident and stable and going to the docter shouldn't make you shit your pants.
Imagine if you get cancer or anything else other then just a two hour emergency room visit. yea your screwed.
