There's an ad on the dashboard for 24 months of gold for $84 plus 1600 free Microsoft points. I'm seriously thinking about doing this. Just thought I'd post it here in case you haven't seen it yet.

I saw it and I'm tempted to do the 12 month one (with 800 points free) because I'm sure Black Ops will have overpriced map-packs >_>

I saw that right after I bought 4000 points (getting all the Mass Effect DLC today) and about kicked myself.

Not a bad deal, and Plastic, you are probably right about the map packs lol.

I was on the phone with MS customer service about a month ago and the guy told me that right around Kinect release, MS is gonna offer a family package that would allow up to 4 accounts for 100 bucks.  Whether this is true or not, I dunno,  but he did say it would happen.  

Only problem is, when do we actually get the points.

I still haven't recieved my Noble 6 helmet from the last offer.

I saw it yesterday but I'd just renewed my subscription last month.  I may be dead in a year.  I can't buy a service and not be here to use it.  Looks like a good deal, though.
