FIFA 11 has the chance to sell over 1 million copies in OTHERS alone on the PS3, and that should be enough to push the console above the 360 in others due to the FIFA ps3 marketing campaign with EA.

So isnt Fifa aswell ?? Black Ops will have hugeee ads for the 360.

VGC was always accurate with America... the issue was with Europe (where the major adjustments happen).

Why are you posting VGC numbers , when we have NPD ones ?? Unless you believe that the 360 sold like 120k than the ps3 in BF but managed to sell 250k more in the rest of November (when sales are much slower than the BF week)

Why are you in VGC then?

PS3 had supply issues in November and the stock had been restored for Black Friday... so I believe.

Yes he does, it's the virtual world. Funny how we never saw the pent up demand from the most recent supply issues, reading some posts during February-March, one would think that the ps3 would be selling 1 million per NPD month when the stock would be back in place. I tell you be thankfull that it's only Europe that we don't get official numbers from.

Thankfully we have NPD and chartrack, from time to time .  There are 2 things i wish we had, chartrack for the whole of Europe and full software results from NPD like we used to have 5 years ago so that we could really see which games have legs (another nice fairy tale that we have to endure) .

At least, as things are now, we only have to read fantasies about contnental Europe. It's funny how the ps3 is doing better where we never get official numbers from....

So it's a woldwide conspiracy? PS3 HW sales, SW sales, financial statements.... all fake?

Fifa is indeed huge. EA says 2.6 million sold during launch week, not sure if this is shipped or sold to consumers but a huge number in either case. I think the fantastic Fifa 10 paved the way for this, as it became clear last year that fifa had definately passed PES.

Obviously last weeks rankings but dang. That makes two countries where SC week 2 is bigger than Reach week 2. Move is doing pretty good in mainland EU. Impressive, both Pokemon SKUs re-enter the top 10.

Is it me or is 50k for the 3 opening weeks, in the PS3's larget European market (its 3rd biggest market globally) on a userbase of 3.2m, a bit.... underwhelming?

How much a PS3 game sell on average in the UK???
