A lot of HOOPla is being made about 2K11 being amazing...possibly the best sports game ever made. Part of the praise is the inclusion of Michael Jordan. It got me thinking about a sport I actually care a morsel about.
Certainly Ken Griffey Junior was one the best baseball players of the 90's, if not the best. I'd argue he was all-around the player of the 90's...even with everyone else jucing. And for this very reason(and the fact part of Mariner ownership also owned part of Nintendo), he had a couple of baseball games named after him on the SNES and N64. Quality games for their time, but now they seem a little outdated.
I felt ninty should have tried to put one of the Griffey classics on VC after his awkward May departure. Such a great player needs to be remembered and honored. Of course it would be out of character for nintendo to include a random, yet beloved game on VC..but it would have been cool.
Anywho, Ken Griffey Jr being included in(maybe even on the cover of) a future baseball game would pretty sweet. What say you?
