Nobody mentioned Mass Effect so I'm assuming you guys agree that it deserved Best RPG. I haven't played it yet but I will put it on the list of "must play" game.

Galaxy should have won game of the year and it is a platformer. That chart is horrible

All the games listed are good, good games but it loses its credibility by leaving Mario out (of GOTY mean).

When is the next GOTY award going to be? and by whom?

SMG not even being nominated for GoTY OR Best Original Soundtrack taints the whole idea of a gaming award show.

wow... This is the worst list ever. who the hell made up this list. Best game fulled by dew? their better off makeing a best game that gives you hand strian. Simpons game won a award?  now I want to have a talk with the guy who came of with this. and for best orinagal sroce my good super mario gaxelly got a better sroce than all of them. And SMG should have been game of the year. Dont get me worng bioshock was a great game but it didnt disverve GOTY. and i have to dissagre with alot of those awards

The four nominees for GOTY are four 360 games... And 3 out of 4 are FPS. Actually if you want select 4 games to vote for for GOTY, you should select 4 games of 4 different styles, and on different consoles.
And I don't get the "best military game" while there's not even a "best platformer" or "best adventure game" category.
