Who else is extremely disappointed that Hatton was just KO. I was hopin he would knock pretty boy down!

Anyone else watch the great fight? 

Apparently he was doing so many public appearences he was exhausted even before the fight.

I'm not a boxing fan but will always support a British team / sports person if they are taking part.

Hatton kicked ass, and he said this before the fight "I will keep after Mayweather until my heart explodes"

Thats exctly what happened, he was so furious and attacked so often he won 6 of the ten rounds fought, in the end he could even hold his hands up.

Mayweather is by far the best pound for pound boxer in the world. If hatton can't stop him, no one can.

I didn't get a chance to see this (I was watching Lost in Translation on HD-DVD), but I was polling for Mayweather against Oscar de la Hoya, but was disappointed with the decision outcome.

From what I read, it sounds like Hatton never really had the edge on Mayweather, despite his aggressive style.

There was no way Hatton would have won this fight. You can't get caught up in the hype, look at the histories of both boxers, May weather, has come up 5 different classes, and has dominated, Hatton only has come up two. Mayweather has the best defence, and truth been told Mayweather had the fight one before the fight even started. He got to Hatton. Its like a crack in a Dam, slowly the water, will make the crack bigger and eventually will start gushing out, thats how emotions are. You can't let emotions command you, and thats what Hatton did. Was a great fight though.

I watched it and I think Hatton was doing a good job when Mayweather was letting him get inside on him. However, during the last few rounds, when Mayweather started moving around more and using more of the ring, that's when Hatton couldn't keep up and was out of his element. This is what cost Hatton the fight I think.

Hatton was out classed and out punched. He ate so many jabs and power punches...with his face.

You know what's sad? I've been studying so much for my law finals that the first thought that came into my mind was, "Hmm, Hatton v. Mayweather... I wonder what the holding was in that case."

Finals seriously need to be over soon.
