Sony is offically unveiling Google Tv on October 12th. Next to Sonys Google TV capable screens, they want to add that feature onto BluRay player aswell.
If you look at recent announcments and cooperations between Sony and Google:
- Sony beeing first adopter of Google Tv (exclusivity for the rest of the year, not much of exclusivity i know ;))
- Sony skipped Symbian as a OS for their mobiles -> Android only in the future
- They planning on a game centered smartphone with Android. which could by PSP2 or next to their Handheld and stationary console their third console, a phone console... PSM - Playstation Mobile (an android phone with the look and feel of Playstation branding)
Wouldnt it be a no brainer to implement Google Tv on Ps3?
Whether its accessible via the browser or an App is up to them (i guess it would be reasonable to think it comes free for PSN Plus members?). @Browser -> imagine a fast and good working Chrome Browser on the Ps3.
